Innovation in medicine brings about revolutions in patient care. Without innovation, we would not have the long-lasting hip and knee replacements we have today. The latest innovation in hip replacement surgery is the invention of a reverse hip which is intended to improve range of motion of the joint and reduce the risk of painful dislocations.

We were asked to evaluate this new implant because of the specialized imaging technology we possess, known as radiostereometric analysis. With that, we were honored to implant the very first total reverse hip replacement prosthesis in the world back in 2017. Since then, dozens more Manitoban’s have received this revolutionary new hip replacement as our clinical trial continues to grow and develop.
