Engineering Research Mentors for the Young Generation
Up Coming
Our biomedical engineering research team supports the learning and growth of the young generation of clinical researchers. We are pleased to mentor high school students as part of their “Learning Through Internship” education program organized by their school. The purpose of the program is to gain hands on work-life experience in the field of their choice.
Currently, our engineering technical lead in joint arthroplasty at the Orthopaedic Innovation Centre is mentoring a young student in hip and knee implant pre-clinical testing and analysis. Together they will work on developing a database of implant wear results through materials testing.
